A recent poll conducted by Powersports Business revealed that the majority of dealers have a full-time employee to handle their F&I product sales – 61.5 percent. More surprisingly, nearly 20 percent of respondents said they don’t sell F&I products at all.
The other dealers were split fairly even with who handles their F&I sales. About 6 percent said a new unit sales manager does and about 8 percent said a new sales staff member handles it. Lastly, another 5.8 percent said a different person handles the department.
