Big Dog Motorcycles gains Canadian compliance, names distributor
Canadian compliance was granted to Big Dog Motorcycles’ 2009 K-9, Mastiff and Pitbull vehicles. The bikes are expected to ship within weeks, according to a company press release.
CCC Imports will be the distributor in Canada for the models. Doug Stuhlsatz, vice president of sales, marketing and administration, says demand in Canada has existed for quite some time.
“Their patience will pay off with our leading chopper, leading pro-street and award-winning Pitbull coming very soon,” he said. “We intend to exploit our sales potential there for years to come.
“In the last 15 years, the company has built a United States-based network of over 90 dealers, successfully extending the brand’s presence nationwide. Going global is the next logical step as we look for sustained long-term growth.”
