Amazon launches cycle, ATV store

Amazon.com Inc. launched its Motorcycle and ATV Store, which the company says will be a single shopping destination for hundreds of thousands of motorcycle and ATV parts, accessories and protective gear. The store showcases a selection of more than 300,000 products from more than 500 manufacturers, according to a company press release
“We are excited to offer motorcycle and ATV customers a huge selection, great prices and the convenience of Amazon’s unique shopping experience,” Steve Frazier, vice president of automotive for Amazon.com, said in the release. “No matter what style of motorcycle they ride, both new riders and enthusiasts can find the tools, parts and accessories they need to upgrade their bikes, prepare for winter riding, venture off road or perform routine maintenance.”

KTM and EVS partner on pair of products

EVS-Sports, a protective gear company, made two products exclusively for KTM, the company announced. The WEB knee brace is now a KTM original and featured in its 2009 PowerWear catalog. The WEB features a newly designed TM5 hinging system. The other product KTM took on was the BJ22, which is a part of EVS’ Ballistic Jersey line. It has mesh stretch panels and a double-closure kidney belt.

2008 Suppliers Directory now available online

The 2008 Market Data Book & Suppliers Directory is currently available through the Powersports Business Web site, www.powersportsbusiness.com
The directory content is available to download with the registration of a free pass on the Web site. The company and product listings, however, are only available in the print source. Saddlemen launches its 2009 Web site

Aftermarket manufacturer Saddlemen launched a new Web site to display its complete product lineup with photos, features and pricing, stated a company press release.
Saddlemen’s line of seats, luggage, gel pads and accessories can be searched by product categories. Visitors also can look up their specific bike model to see all the products made for it.

H&H Trailers Opens Plant and Distribution Center

H&H Trailers has begun producing its aluminum line of trailers in Kingman, Ariz.
Steel trailers from H&H’s Clarinda, Iowa, operation also will be available at this facility. The company is using the site as a distribution hub for their dealers.
