S&S Cycle announces emissions certification laboratory
S&S Cycle has a new, in-house emissions certification laboratory in La Crosse, Wis., which will allow the company to complete motorcycle exhaust and evaporative emissions testing, according to a company press release.
The company’s testing will comply with the requirements set by the Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board. The lab will be used to help expand the number of emissions-compliant components and engines in S&S Cycle’s catalog and offer support services to customers for their aftermarket and vehicle emissions testing needs.
The lab will meet the requirements in title 40 of the Code of Federal regulations for on-highway and off-road recreational motorcycles as well as ATVs.
