Polaris’ sales hit record high in 3Q
Fueled by increasing ATV sales, Polaris Industries reported a record third quarter.
The Minnesota manufacturer totaled $544 million in sales, an 11 percent increase over last year, as its ATV sales grew 15 percent.
Polaris groups its UTV sales in its ATV division, and the company’s new Ranger RZR side-by-side had an impact on that segment’s rising sales.
While sales grew, so did expenses. The company’s operating expenses increased 29 percent as Polaris spent more on advertising and marketing as well as research and development.
