Hero Honda sales up 12 percent in August
Hero Honda Motors Ltd. surpassed the $2 million sales mark in January-August this year, which is an increase of 12 percent from the same period in 2006, according to Hero Honda’s press release.
Hero Honda sold a total of 240,875 two-wheelers last month compared to 215,076 the previous August. The total number of vehicles sold through the month of August is 2,107,772.
The release also states the sales increase could be due to the company’s approach to strengthen its brands, bring in new products and keep open lines of communication.
