Ducati delivers 2008 1098s
Model year 2008 Ducati 1098s and 1098 S’s began rolling into North American dealer showrooms earlier this week, the company said in a press release July 30.
The 160hp, 381-pound motorcycle was first released in 2007 and won numerous press awards. Ducati dealers reported having deposits on their entire year’s allocation before the first bikes even arrived.
The strong reception and need to fulfill customer demand lead Ducati North America to accelerate 2008 model arrivals to North American dealers, the company said.
The 1098 has a MSRP of $15,995, while the 1098 S carries a MSRP of $19,995.
