July 2, 2007 – Global makes executive changes

Besides its business reorganization, Global Motorsport Group also announced some moves within its executive chain.
Industry veteran Frank Esposito has been named vice president of worldwide sales for the Custom Chrome Division and will report directly to Holger Mohr, Custom Chrome’s president.
Prior to this assignment, Esposito held numerous leadership positions within the Global Motorsport Organization. Before joining Global, Esposito was the president and COO of Tucker Rocky Distributing for more than five years. Collectively he has more than 30 years of industry experience. Esposito also has served many roles in the industry, most notably as the chairman of the Motorcycle Industry Council’s Aftermarket Committee.
Global also announced that Andreas Scholz was named general manager of Custom Chrome Europe (CCE). His new responsibilities will be in addition to his role as director of sales and marketing.
This change will allow Mohr to focus more on Custom Chrome’s U.S. operations and its overall global approach.
“As director of sales and marketing he has done a great job leading his team to consistent growth in the European market,” Mohr said in a released statement.
“Starting June 1st, Andreas enjoys my full support and trust and I am sure that he — together with all of the dedicated team — will continue to improve the excellent results coming from Europe,” Mohr said.
Scholz will be in charge of all daily activities for CCE and will be the spokesperson for the team of directors reporting into him.
