Dec. 26, 2005 – Custom Chrome holds dealer show

Custom Chrome, a unit of Global Motorsport Group, Inc., Morgan Hill, Calif., held its 19th Annual Dealer Show November 17-20 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The event took place during Big Twin West and the AMD Pro Show.
Custom Chrome distributes parts and accessories for American-made and Metric V-twin motorcycles. The company’s house brands include Custom Chrome, Motor Factory, RevTech, Motocell and Santee.
The new show format was accompanied by several updates and additions to Custom Chrome’s product offering, including the launch of two new motorcycles, the Outlaw and El Dorado Classic.
Also new to Custom Chrome are the Xzotic 100-inch 4×4 and 110-inch engines and more inclusive Xzotic 100-inch 4×4 and 110-inch Drivetrain Kits.
RevTech engines that have been assembled using Custom Chrome’s Xzotic generator-style cam covers, distributors and either Panhead or Knucklehead rocker covers, each Xzotic 100 and 110 comes completely assembled, ready to bolt into a bike. They come in polished, black, and natural finishes. Prices range from $6,507 to $7,699 for the Xzotic Panhead engines, and from $6,799 to $7,999 for the Xzotic Knucklehead engines.
For a complete drivetrain kit for Softail models, Custom chrome offers kits including a choice of Xzotic engines plus a six-speed transmission and an updated RevTech chain drive primary kit. Prices for Xzotic Panhead Kits for Softail models from 1989 through 1999 range from $9,740 to $11,200. The Xzotic Knucklehead Kits for Softail models from 1989 through 1999 are priced from $10,200 to $11,675.
Other product new to Custom Chrome comes from S&S Performance, Baker Drivetrain, MES, Wind Zone, Roger McEwan, Permatex, Adjure and Bike Buddy Pro.
Bike Buddy Pro produces Hi-Lo Rider Air Suspension Kits for a variety of V-twin motorcycles. The kits offer the stock look with the ability to quickly change to a super low custom without any frame modification. Kits fit ’89 – ’99 Softail models; 2000+ Twin Cam 88 Softail models; Harley-Davidson Touring models; Yamaha Road Star & V Star models; and the Victory Vegas. Also comes with an optional remote control.
