Jones Signs with Suzuki
At the conclusion of the 2004 ITP/ATVA Motocross Nationals at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., Suzuki announced it signed Jeremiah Jones to ride a Yoshimura-prepped Z400 next season. Jones won the Pro-class title in 2003 on a two-stroke ATV. This year, Jones switched to a Yamaha YFZ450 and placed fourth overall.
Jones will join Doug Gust under the Suzuki banner for the 2005 season. Gust won the championship this year with eight wins (a record-setting six in a row) and four second-places finishes.
