Distributor makes big changes

Powersports distributors, both national and regional operations, are taking major steps to improve their productivity, expand their product lines and increase the face-to-face service that they provide their customers.
At the same time, the distributors we talked with have concerns about the economy and the willingness of consumers to spend money during the remainder of 2003.
Aftermarket sales seem to have been flat or up slightly from last year, through June.
