ATV profit per unit figures drop

Profit on new ATVs in April declined by almost 10% from margins the month before, according to a survey of Top Gun dealers across the country. Profit per new ATV in April was $742, down from $823 in May. It was a sharp drop from the $846 figure per unit posted in April last year.
Profit per new motorcycle was $1,120, up from $1,067 in March. Last April, profit per new motorcycle was $1,166. However, profit per used motorcycle increased to $1,049, up from $940 in March and $888 last April. psb
