Fischer MRX Now Available

Fischer Motor Company’s long-awaited Hyosung-powered 650cc MRX sportbike is in production and now available.
Fischer Motor Company President Dan Fischer is a former AMA road racer. Describing himself as “strictly a mid-pack racer,” he says he began debating the creation of the bike after leaving racing in 2000. He first publicly revealed his plan to build the bike in December 2002, and introduced a striking yellow concept at the 2004 Indianapolis Dealer Expo.
To get his ideas sorted, Fischer contacted Glynn Kerr, an English freelance designer living in France who has penned bikes for over 20 different manufacturers. Kerr came up with the original drawings for the bike and, along with Gemini Technology Systems of Mukwonago, Wis., assisted in engineering and R&D.
“We waited to release the MRX until it was ready,” Fischer recently told Powersports Business. “Through all of the engineering and testing, the excitement kept building until we truly realized the machine that we developed. When we finally put the pre-production bikes together and started riding and testing them earlier this year our team witnessed first-hand the years of effort pay off with a strong offering.”
Fischer Motor Company is based in Pocomoke City, Md. The MRX retails for $7,995.
See the September 25 edition of Powersports Business magazine for a complete report on the Fischer MRX.
