New Board Members Join HiPer Technology

HiPer Technology, Inc., a Kansas company specializing in carbon fiber products utilizing a proprietary injection molding process, has named three new members to its Board of Directors.
Founded in 2000, HiPer produces products for ATVs, Sprint cars and pit bikes. Jim Stinehelfer will be returning as Chairman in addition to his role as HiPer CEO while company founder Tomas A. Darnell will serve the board as Vice President of Research and Development.
New additions to the board include Michael Grossman of Sterneck Capital Management in Kansas City; Wally Meyer, currently Director of Entrepreneurship Programs at the University of Kansas; and former President of Payless Shoesource, Duane Cantrell, who currently serves as Managing Director of Genus Consulting.
“The new Board is comprised of industry leaders with a proven record of expanding and growing international businesses,” said Stinehelfer. “We greatly appreciate the contributions of the outgoing Board and are excited by the prospects of the incoming members.”
HiPer Technology’s outgoing members include Rodger Henry, Sherri Schaub, and Bob Skahan.
“These individuals made great contributions of time, effort, and personal commitments to help stabilize our company during some painful growth periods” Stinehelfer said, adding that HiPer has grown in excess of 30 percent under their leadership.
