MIC to Fill Three Board Positions

Based on the results of a primary ballot sent to Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) voting members in November, four out of six of the people who accepted nominations to serve on the organization’s board of directors will appear on the election ballot this month.
The MIC plans to fill three Board positions this year – two aftermarket/allied trades directors, and one motorcycle manufacturer/distributor director.
The six aftermarket/allied trades candidates appearing on the November primary ballot were Eric Anderson, Scorpion Sports, Inc.; Deb Drinan, Dowco, Inc.; Robin Hartfiel, publisher; Larry Little, publisher; Chris Real, Diversified Petrochemical Services; and Mike Vaughan, publisher. Allan Hurd of Polaris Industries was the only candidate to accept the nomination for the motorcycle manufacturer/distributor director position, so a primary was not required.
The remaining three elected directors – Don Emde, Frank Esposito and Fred Fox – will serve one more year of their two-year term that expires in February 2007.
The results of the current election cycle will be officially announced February 17 during the annual MIC Member Meeting in Indianapolis.
