i2tech Named Arctic Cat’s Supplier of the Year
Innovative Injection Technologies (i2tech), West Des Moines, Iowa, has been selected as Arctic Cat’s Supplier of the Year for 2005. This is the second year in a row i2tech was named top supplier. Chuck Hicks, Director of Supply Management for Arctic Cat, made the announcement at Arctic Cat’s 9th annual supplier meeting.
i2tech was selected as the number one supplier from the 229 companies that supply production parts to Arctic Cat’s manufacturing factories in Thief River Falls, Minn. and Madison, S.D. i2tech produces Arctic Cat’s highly engineered and cosmetically sensitive fenders, hoods and grills for all terrain vehicles in a 3000-ton Husky injection molding press, which is the largest in Iowa.
Arctic Cat uses the following criteria in evaluating the supplier’s performance for the past 12 months: Quality, On Time Delivery Performance including no assembly line shutdowns, Cost Reductions, E Commerce Communications, and The Commodity Manager’s Rating.
Innovative Injection Technologies Inc., a privately held company, also does custom injection molding of highly engineered plastic components for John Deere, HNI, and Electrolux.
