Dealership to celebrate grand opening of all-new store

Dealership managing partner Jeff Carr was last seen by PSB during the Parts Unlimited NVP Product Expo over the winter in Indianapolis. He was gearing up for the opening of the new family-owned dealership — operated by Carr, his wife and two sons — by checking out new products for the season.

Well, time has come to cut the ribbon on the dealership, and Carr will be doing just that from June 19-30 to celebrate the grand opening of Honda of North Carolina Powerhouse in the Granite Falls/Hickory area. The 22,000 square-foot dealership opened for business on April 15.

The longtime Illinois auto dealership general manager will cut the ribbon on June 28 at 2 p.m. — be there! In addition to daily parts and service specials, the Honda shop will offer door prizes, including restaurant gift cards, clothing, wheels, tires, accessories, tickets to a Kenny Chesney concert in Nashville and signed guitars from Jake Owen and Jason Aldean.

Customers can register to win the grand prize of a 2018 Rancher or 2018 Rebel 500. Runner-up prize is a 2018 Grom.

Carr reports that with the exception of the heavy rainfall in the area during May, business has been good and the reception in the community has been fantastic.
