Arch Motorcycle makes global debut at EICMA

Keanu Reeves, Gard Hollinger pull drapes off three new models in Milan

Arch Motorcycle co-founders Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger didn’t need to worry about the lack of a crowd for the international debut of Arch Motorcycle Co. at EICMA.

Throngs of folks were on hand to watch the duo reveal the company’s new models — the 2018 KRGT-1, the ARCH #1s and the ARCH METHOD 143 — at the 75th running of the world’s largest motorcycle trade show in Milan.

Arch Motorcycle Company is a boutique manufacturer that offers custom-production motorcycles in a state-of-the-art factory near Los Angeles.

The company reports that it CNC-machined in-house over 200 unique parts out of billet aluminum to make the KRGT-1, their first production model. Hollinger handles the design and build, supervising a staff of skilled craftsmen who assemble each unit by hand to meet the proper ergonomic and aesthetic preferences of the customer. The two also announced their European distribution will be handled by Suter Industries, which has created Arch Europe.

“We’re very excited to have presented two motorcycles that represent our vision for the future of Arch Motorcycle,” Hollinger said. “This also marks our commitment to having our motorcycle being Euro 4 compliant, and by creating the European distribution channel Arch Europe with our partner Suter Industries, we look forward to continuing to grow the brand in Europe after EICMA 2017.”

S&S Cycle continues to supply the engine for Arch bikes. The original KRGT-1 launched in 2015, with the goal of offering a custom tailored, performance cruiser that could be ridden aggressively and also be comfortable for long distances. The newest refined version of this vision will launch in 2018 with a focus on ergonomic enhancements to the bodywork. Other improvements include, updated front suspension, upgraded brakes with optional ABS and EURO 4 compliance. It’s powered by a 2032cc V-twin engine.

The Method 143 is Arch’s first concept production motorcycle. It features a carbon fiber mono-cell chassis and will have a limited production run of 23 units. It’s powered by a 2343cc engine.

The Arch #1s is the brand’s first production single-sided swingarm motorcycle, and comes as an evolution of its brother the KRGT-1. This model is sport influenced with a more aggressive riding position while keeping its performance cruiser formulation. It’s powered by a 2032cc V-twin engine.
