EICMA 2017: Hollywood comes to Milan with Reeves’ ARCH Motorcycle Co.
Arch Motorcycle Company announced that Keanu Reeves has confirmed his attendance at the 75th edition of EICMA in Milan, Nov. 7-12. Reeves will attend in a dual capacity: as a real fan of two wheels and for the world premiere of three new models of the ARCH Motorcycle Company, which he co-founded together with Gard Hollinger, a well-known master builder and veteran rider.
Arch builds its custom motorcycles in Los Angeles. The first model, launched in 2015, was the KRGT-1. In November the company is taking part for the first time at EICMA and is presenting no fewer than three new models on the prestigious international scene of EICMA.
ARCH has created over 200 unique pieces in-house, which have been used to compose the KRGT-1, their first model of production. Hollinger supervises an expert staff of skilled craftsmen who assemble each unit by hand to meet the ergonomic and aesthetic preferences of the client.
Arch Motorcycle has recently partnered with Suter Industries to distribute these new models, including the current KRGT-1, internationally in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Lichtenstein.
The models making their debut as a world premiere at EICMA 2017 are:
2018 ARCH KRGT-1
The most recent and refined version of the first KRGT-1 of 2015, this cruiser can be ridden aggressively but at the same time is comfortable over long distances. The ergonomic improvements concern the bodywork, the front suspensions, upgraded brakes with optional ABS and Euro-4 compliance.
ARCH 1S
The first production single-sided swingarm is the evolution of the KRGT-1. This model is sporty, with a more aggressive riding position while keeping intact its cruiser formula in performances. The CNC-machined aluminum and the wide use of carbon fiber characterize this elegant, racing-inspired motorbike.
ARCH METHOD143
With a carbon fiber mono-cell chassis, this product currently in design will be limited to 23 units. The concept of stratification design and the elegance of the craftsmanship of the bodywork includes leather, carbon fiber and CNC-machined aluminum.
Reeves and his brand of motorbikes at EICMA join exhibitors from 40 different countries.
Also, during EICMA, the show will liven up two European icons of shopping: KaDeWe in Berlin and Harrods of London. During the days of the show, through posters, billboards, advertising pages, online communications on social media, digital displays and media walls in the stores, EICMA will presents its showcase and the best of Italian excellence on two wheels to the many visitors to the two prestigious centers of luxury in Europe.
