Harley-Davidson recalls 45K motorcycles

Harley-Davidson has issued a recall involving 45,589 model year 2017 motorcycles when it was found that an incorrectly installed clamp may result in the engine oil cooler line detaching, causing a sudden loss of oil. This could increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the oil cooler line clamps, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on June 6, 2017.
