Kawasaki has released its financial results for Q3, with net sales in the Motorcycle & Engine segment down 20.1 billion Yen to 198.7 billion Yen from the same period in 2016.
Orders received and operating income also decreased in Q3 in the Motorcycle & Engine segment.
Net sales in this segment "decreased due to the effect of the appreciation of yen, decrease in general-purpose gasoline Engines and motorcycles for emerging markets, and other factors, despite sales increase in motorcycles and utility vehicles for developed countries," Kawasaki reported.
Overall, Kawasaki's net sales were down 22.5 billion Yen to 1,043.0 billion Yen.Click here for reuse options!
