KYMCO USA extends Flat Track sponsorship

American Flat Track and KYMCO USA have announced a multi-year renewal of their existing partnership, naming KYMCO the official scooter, ATV and side-by-side of American Flat Track.

KYMCO will provide American Flat Track’s safety and operations team with the company’s latest generation side by sides, including the go-anywhere KYMCO UXV 500i G with enclosed, fan-cooled 5kw generator, and the performance-oriented KYMCO Super 8 150 scooter.

“Each weekend, we put KYMCO’s product line to the test in the harsh, real world environment of Pro Flat Track and they always deliver,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “We’d like to thank KYMCO for their continued support of American Flat Track and we look forward to the next chapter of our partnership.”

Per the agreement, KYMCO will also display and promote its product line at select American Flat Track rounds and, new for 2017, one lucky fan will have the chance to win the brand new KYMCO K-Pipe 125.

“With this being a historic year for race rivalries in the American Flat Track series, it’s exciting for KYMCO USA to be contributing to its national success,” said Bruce Ramsey, VP Sales and Marketing for KYMCO USA. “Plus, this uniquely American series is a grand way for KYMCO to celebrate its 17th year in the USA. This is going to be a memorable year.”

American Flat Track will kick off the 2017 season during Daytona’s Bike Week festivities on Thursday, March 16 with the all-new DAYTONA TT, built inside the trioval at Daytona International Speedway. The DAYTONA TT will mark the dawning of a new era for America’s most historic form of motorcycle racing, and the “World Center of Racing” will serve as the first battleground for the great American war between Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in 2017. Tickets for the DAYTONA TT are now on sale and can be purchased at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com.
