Indian Motorcycle to exhibit at Long Beach IMS

Indian Motorcycle announced its plans for the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) circuit kicking off in Long Beach (Nov. 18 – 20), followed by New York City (Dec. 5 – 8) plus 2017 tour stops in Washington D.C., Dallas, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Chicago. For the first time on the IMS circuit, Indian Motorcycle will show off the Chieftain Dark Horse, a blacked-out bagger; Indian Springfield, the pure essential touring machine and the award-winning Indian Scout available in a variety of two-tone colors. Indian will also give fans a taste of Ride Command, the industry’s most advanced and user-friendly infotainment system —  available on 2017 Indian Chieftain and Roadmaster models. 

Test ride the entire 2017 Indian Motorcycle lineup 

Long Beach riders are encouraged to test ride the all-new 2017 Indian Motorcycle lineup including a selection of accessorized models. Demos will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Long Beach Convention Center parking lot. All riders must present a valid motorcycle endorsement. Riders and passengers must be 18 or older and wear proper riding attire that includes a DOT approved helmet, closed-toe shoes, long pants and eye protection.

Experience the Indian Motorcycle exhibit

Visit the Indian Motorcycle booth to check out the entire 2017 Indian Motorcycle lineup and be blown away by the all-new Ride Command infotainment system, featuring the industry’s largest, fastest and most customizable display. On-display will be the one-of-a-kind Scout FTR750 flat track race bike –  part of Indian Motorcycle’s historic return to Flat Track Racing. Authentic Indian Motorcycle apparel, accessories and gifts will be on-display and available for purchase. There will be special incentives at each show starting with a tee-shirt giveaway in Long Beach. Additionally, Indian Motorcycle owners can receive a special gift by simply showing their key fob or a photo of them and their bike.

Meet Bryan Smith of the 2017 Indian Wrecking Crew

Long Beach visitors are also invited to meet Indian Motorcycle Racing’s “Flyin” Bryan Smith and inspect his #1 Scout FTR750 from 6 p.m. — 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18.

“The International Motorcycle Shows tour is always a great experience,” said Reid Wilson, director of Marketing for Indian Motorcycle. “It’s where we can connect with our existing fans, as well as showcase the best we have to offer to those interested in learning more about our storied brand.”

Take part in the Beautiful Bikers Conference

Also in Long Beach, Indian Motorcycle will support the Beautiful Bikers Conference, a celebration of women who love to ride, which takes place at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach concurrent to the motorcycle show. On Friday Nov. 18, registration runs 12 p.m. –  4 p.m., followed by The Ground Pounders Block Party from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. On Saturday Nov. 19, attendees break out into sessions (Long Distance Riding, Adventure Riding, Beginning Riding & Accessorizing Your Ride) from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., view a Ride the Runway fashion show from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., and enjoy the Beautiful Bikers Awards from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Finally, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 20, attendees may participate in the Beautiful Bikers Ride, picnic and photoshoot.
