1st Capital Harley-Davidson celebrates grand opening

Siblings Clint Sheffer and Sue Renoll hosted a grand opening for their 1st Capital Harley-Davidson this past weekend. The brother and sister duo purchased Laugerman’s Harley-Davidson in York, Pa., in August, but held off until the spring to host its grand opening, the Central Penn Business Journal reported. Laugerman’s was Pennsylvania’s oldest Harley-Davidson dealership.

Sheffer and Renoll are new to the powersports industry. Before buying the dealership, the two worked together in truck repair and construction equipment.

“1st Capital Harley- Davidson has new bikes, new MotorClothes, new owners, and they are looking forward to giving their customers a new experience,” the dealership wrote in a March 31 blog. “The entire team at 1st Capital Harley-Davidson is working hard to make every customer feel like they belong to the 1st Capital family. They want them to feel like they can come and hang out like you would with family.”

The dealership has more than 100 new and used bikes on its showroom floor. Heather Goodwin serves as the dealership’s general manager.
