New Polaris pedal-assisted electric bicycles are now being delivered to the nationwide network of authorized Polaris eBike dealers. The benefits of green transportation, including reduced energy costs and silent operation are built-into the lightweight yet rugged eBikes.

According to Adam Rand, President of EVantage USA Inc. exclusive developer of Polaris electric bicycles and motor system technology, “Our new facility brings together several vital company operations, including electric motor development and quality control, fully-stocked parts department, customer service, and all corporate departments.”
Since the introduction of RAPID RESPONSE TEAM models for community policing and public safety a number of municipalities have obtained their Polaris eBikes, including Arlington, MA; Barnstable, MA; Chelsea, MA; Marblehead, MA. and more. In addition, several major universities, Harvard University, Boston College, Endicott College, and Stonehill College, for example, are evaluating the eBikes for campus patrol duty.

Backpedal Regeneration transfers the rider’s physical backpedal action and electronic braking to battery regeneration for enhanced battery life and improved handling performance.
Active Trail Mode regenerates the bike’s battery during pedaling with automatic incline sensors to deliver power for uphill riding. Operation of this mode extends battery life to complete any duty shift.
