S&S Cycle joins AIMExpo exhibitor list

The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) announced today that S&S Cycle, an industry leader in specialized engines and high-performance upgrades for the V-Twin market, will become the newest exhibitor for the 2015 show, scheduled for October 15-18 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). The addition of S&S Cycle further expands the growing contingent of V-Twin exhibitors in the show’s third year.

Established in 1958, the Viola, Wisconsin-based S&S Cycle has grown to become arguably the most recognizable name in V-Twin aftermarket performance. The “Go-Fast” mantra that was founded chasing speed on the Bonneville Salt Flats now defines the brand and its products, which are aimed at maximizing the performance of V-twin motorcycles.

S&S Cycle’s participation at AIMExpo will be highlighted by its sponsorship of the Freestyle class at the new AIMExpo Championship of the Americas custom bike building competition, alongside Biker’s Choice. The winner of the inaugural contest will advance to the AMD 2016 World Championship of Custom Bike Building in Cologne, Germany, at the 2016 Intermot show. S&S Cycle and world-class bike-building events go hand-in-hand as a long time sponsor of the AMD World Championship. With the introduction of the AIMExpo Championship of the Americas, it recognized the opportunity to expand its support of bike builders in its home market.

“With AIMExpo increasing activities for the V-Twin segment of the industry, we feel that it’s definitely something worthwhile for S&S Cycle to support. So, we’re stepping up to be part of those activities by becoming a sponsor of a new competition for custom bike builders,” said Paul Langley, President of S&S Cycle. “Specifically, we’re donating an S&S P93 engine for AIMExpo to use to help finance a trip for the winner of the Championship of the Americas custom bike building competition that will represent the Americas in the AMD 2016 World Championship of Custom Bike Builders.”

“As importantly, S&S has chosen to invest in AIMExpo to take advantage of the all-in-one platform where we can interact with dealers, consumers and members of the media, in addition to showcasing our latest products. It’s an event with an international appeal that allows us to conduct our trade business and then meet our end-users in one place at one time. It’s a win-win.”

S&S Cycle will maximize its show presence by participating at the new Garage Party on Saturday afternoon and evening.

“S&S Cycle is a highly recognizable industry leader and joins the growing list of V-Twin exhibitors who will have a presence at AIMExpo,” said Bob Kay, AIMExpo V-Twin Director. “They’ve taken notice of the platform available to them and the initiatives being undertaken by AIMExpo to drive V-Twin dealer and enthusiast participation. We welcome them on board!”

As a whole, AIMExpo boasts more OEM participation, more exhibitors and more new products for 2015, making it a must-attend event for any dealer.

More than 300 exhibitors have already committed to AIMExpo in 2015. Exhibitor presence builds each day and companies looking to take advantage of the AIMExpo platform should contact an AIMExpo Account Manager toll free at 855-MCShows (855-627-4697).
