New Polaris electric fat tire bicycles featuring Troy Lee Designs launched

News release

As the green flag dropped to start the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix, Polaris electric bicycles rolled out its new Polaris Paddock eBike, featuring uniquely distinctive graphics of world famous designer, Troy Lee Designs.

EVantage USA, Inc., exclusive developers of Polaris electric bicycles is bringing its Troy Lee Designs’ electric Fat Tire bikes to professional open-wheel racing to transport drivers, pit crews and support personnel, with the speed, stability and style that sets a new pace in electric bikes. Whether it’s riding for last-minute errands or an urgent paddock-to-pit run, a Polaris e-Bike will get you there quickly at silent speeds up to 20 mph.

Polaris eBikes The New Choice of Leading Competitors

With the banning of combustion engines at certain race track infields, Team Penske racing legend and three-time Indianapolis 500 Champion Helio Castroneves, launched a new trend in 2014 when he rode Polaris eBikes as his personal ride of choice in the electric-only paddocks. Helio’s 2015 Polaris Paddock eBike design matches his 2015 racing helmet, also a Troy Lee Designs product.

One of Helio’s main competitors, Andretti Autosport and reigning Indy 500 Champion, Ryan Hunter-Reay, is also one of the first drivers to make the jump to Polaris Paddock eBikes. Regarded as the best American driver in open wheel racing today, Ryan is also an avid cyclist and now uses his Paddock eBike as his preferred transportation in the paddocks.

Ryan’s 2015 Polaris Paddock is the “All-American” Troy Lee Designs bike with a red/white/blue theme and stars and stripes seat.

At the recent Polaris Camp RZR in Dubai, professional UTV and RZR driver RJ Anderson test rode the Polaris Paddock eBike for the first time. He now rides his Polaris Paddock by Troy Lee Designs in the paddocks for the Pro Lite, Pro 2 and Pro UTV series. If you’re curious about what he does for a living, check here.

According to Austin Higdon, EVantage USA, Inc. managing director, “These outstanding racing pilots have one common trait: each is a world-class racer needing some fresh electric transportation solutions in the paddocks.
