Rommel grows dealership footprint

Brad Hopkins and Dave Rommel of the Rommel Harley-Davidson Group have purchased the former Electric City Harley-Davidson in Scranton, Pa., and Noto’s Harley-Davidson Shop in Plains Township, Pa., from brothers Thomas and Robert Noto. The stores have been renamed Rommel Harley-Davidson of Scranton, and the secondary retail location will be Rommel Harley-Davidson of Plains Township.

George Chaconas of Performance Brokerage Services had been introduced to the Noto family when, a few years ago, Tommy Noto contacted Chaconas after receiving a mailer announcing that a Harley-Davidson
acquisition opportunity was available. Although that particular deal did not come to fruition, Noto and Chaconas kept in touch over the years.  When the Noto brothers were ready to sell their Harley-Davidson dealerships and grow and expand other businesses, they contacted Chaconas to facilitate the sale.
