Harley-Davidson York, Pa. facility named ‘Best Plant’

Harley-Davidson’s manufacturing facility in York, Pa., has been named one of seven Best Plant winners by Industry Week magazine.

The plant has been recognized for the lean manufacturing overhaul it has undergone over the past few years. About 1,200 union employees work for Harley-Davidson in York. The OEM has been manufacturing bikes there since 1973.
