INTERMOT kicks off countdown to 2014 show
INTERMOT Köln, a European trade fair for motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes, combustion and electric engines, has launched preparation for its October 2014, show in Cologne, Germany.
The event, which is expected to draw more than 1,000 exhibitors, kicks off Sept. 30, 2014, with a press day. Entry to the opening-day activities is limited to press, importers with VIP cards and traders with special invitations. Oct. 1 begins Trade Visitors’ Day, in which traders and importers and a select number of private visitors will be welcome to attend to facilitate business discussion.
The consumer portion of the show begins Oct. 2 and runs through Oct. 5. Attendees will be allowed to walk the show floor, see world premieres of products and visit the outdoor program, which includes races, stunt shows and test rides.
In addition to the typical expo hall, INTERMOT offers a Business District, a business-to-business area where companies can talk to others in the industry in a quieter setting.
Specific marketing and visitor packs are available to motorcycle dealers and importers worldwide. INTERMOT is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH. The IVM (International Motorcycle Federation, Germany) supports the event as a non-profit co-organizer.
