Bell Helmets has appointed Ash Kane as its new EMEA sales and marketing lead for its powersports business, the company announced.
Kane has 20 years of industry experience and 12 years in international sales. Among his accomplishments, he helped grow Fox nearly seven-fold from 1996-2007. Kane is also an active motocross rider and road racer.
In Kane’s new role, he’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Bell’s EMEA distributors and related sale forces. He’ll also work to develop new distribution channels. Kane will be working closely with director of sales Matt Schumann and business unit director Chris Sacket in developing and implementing the company’s strategic direction for Europe and in ensuring all marketing business development, financial and operation objectives are met. Kane will join Bell Helmets at EICMA Nov. 5-10 in Milan, Italy.
“Heading into Europe for the first time in more than 20 years, we knew we needed to get someone who had a proven track record,” Schumann said. “Ash has been doing this for a long time, and he has the relationships we need to succeed overseas. We’re excited to have him leading the charge for Bell in Europe.”
