Powersports Business Institute @ AIMExpo lineup unveiled

After extensive development, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) and EPG Media, publisher of Powersports Business, Rider and Thunder Press magazines, have announced the curriculum for the trade portion of Powersports Business Institute @ AIMExpo (PSBI@AIMExpo), the event’s comprehensive education program set to take place on October 16-20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Powersports Business is recognized for its educational programs designed to increase the bottom line of Powersports retailers. With a groundbreaking vision and broad support from the industry, AIMExpo will deliver a wide selection of seminars, panel discussions and other educational sessions. The trade portion of PSBI@AIMExpo will take place over the first three days of the event, offering 40 classes focused on improving every aspect of a dealership’s business model — specifically the key areas of Sales & Marketing, Digital Solutions, Services & Operations, and Powering Profits.

Each of the sessions will be presented or moderated by some of the industry’s most respected individuals from recognized companies. These specialists will aim to maximize dealer knowledge with an emphasis on operating a Powersports business efficiently and profitably.

There is no charge for dealers to attend AIMExpo or participate in its education program during the event’s exclusive trade-only days. To view the complete curriculum as well as register for AIMExpo visit www.aimexpousa.com.

“PSBI@AIMExpo is a truly unique opportunity to provide dealers something they’ve never had access to before,” said Amy Collins, Powersports Business Group Publisher. “We have been providing educational seminars for many years and they have been a huge success. However, never has such a comprehensive curriculum of seminars been available at a single event. We are looking forward to bringing this program to life.”

The program’s schedule was created to ensure maximum flexibility for attending dealers, giving them the ability to participate in a variety of sessions while also maximizing time on the AIMExpo show floor. Classes will be conducted over three days in four separate rooms enabling participants to manage their time as they see fit.

“Our objective with AIMExpo’s educational program is to provide attendees with a product that delivers the greatest value possible,” said Kerry Graeber, Marketing Director, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. “Our research has indicated that dealers need comprehensive education more than ever so we have placed a great emphasis on building this program. The curriculum has been developed based on dealer input and the speakers are among the leading voices in Powersports.  We’re absolutely confident that by taking part in the Powersports Business Institute @ AIMExpo, dealers will return to their shops with valuable tools and techniques to improve their business.”

In addition to the trade element of PSBI@AIMExpo, a consumer program led by the editorial staff of Rider and Thunder Press magazines will also be featured. The consumer sessions will be hosted on AIMExpo’s show floor Presentation Stage and will feature offerings on a broad variety of topics including rider education, performance, DIY and an improved overall riding experience, among other things. Additional information regarding consumer sessions will be announced closer to the event and be available on the event website.

The inaugural AIMExpo will revolutionize the Powersports industry as North America’s first combined consumer, trade and media event. It will be held on October 16-20, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

  1. Some very worthwhile and exciting looking educational sessions. Unfortunately I see no mobile marketing education. As mobile continues to shape the landscape of ALL digital marketing and media consumption it seems a mobile-specific session would have been of great interest to attendees. From mobile SEO to mobile website optimization to mobile customer notifications it’s clear the industry is in need of direction.
