KTM North America, Inc. has hired Jim McKenna as dealer development specialist, a new position created to support the achievement of KTM North America’s network development goals.
McKenna is a lifetime motorcycle enthusiast and brings more than 23 years of powersports industry experience to the position. He also has worked at a powersports dealership and served in area, national and commercial director sales positions with other European distributors.
In his new role at KTM, McKenna will take on key assignments, including dealer prospecting, overseeing the application process and ultimately new dealer orientation training.
“I’m very pleased to have Jim join our KTM team,” KTM dealer development manager Tom Buttleman said. “He brings a wealth of experience, professionalism and passion that will enhance the strength of KTM’s network of business partners. I am convinced that Jim will make a great fit for this role which we feel is an important step to improving the quality of service for new dealers joining the KTM family.”
KTM currently has more than 300 dealership partners, according to Powersports Business data.
