2013 High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals adds obstacle course

The new Outlaw Obstacle Course, featuring pallets, tires, logs and more, will be one of eight events ATV and UTV riders can participate in during the 11th annual High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals March 20-24.

The new course is designed for riders of all abilities, and the rider with the fastest time will be named the winner. Other events include: the Mud Jam Stereo Competition, Bad 2 ‘da Bone Show and Shine, Outlaw BBQ Contest, Endurance Challenge and the Championship Mud Racing Series Mud Bog and Mudda Cross.

The Extreme Outlaw Concert Series at the Oasis will feature Frank Foster Friday night, with Blackberry Smoke and Drake White on stage Saturday. More than 100 vendors will be on hand at the event, including Polaris, Can-Am, Arctic Cat and Bennche.

“It’s hard to believe that in 11 years our little group ride has turned into the biggest mud-riding event in the world,” said High Lifter Products’ president Scott Smith. “Each year we grow this event and bring something new to the table — and this year is no exception! I’m especially looking forward to seeing the Outlaw Obstacle Course challenge make its debut at the High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals. The course is designed to create an even playing field for riders with stock ATVs/UTVs and tricked out ATVs/UTVs. It’s going to be one exciting event to watch!”

Mud Nationals will be held at Mud Creek Off-Road Park in Jacksonville, Texas for the ninth consecutive year. The event draws thousands from the U.S., Canada and Sweden. Tickets for the five-day event are $60 and can be purchased at the gate. For more information, visit www.atvmudnationals.com.
