Yamaha releases details on first sled of 2013

Yamaha released details this week on the first snowmobile of its 2013 lineup, the FX Nytro XTX 1.75.

The sled is a crossover model, designed for those riding in the backcountry more than on groomed trails. It’s similar to past Nytro XTX machines except that with its new 15-by-144-by-175-inch Camoplast Backcountry Track, it’s more capable of playing in deep snow. The rear suspension rails have been tipped up to reduce the sled’s wheelbase, and Extrovert drivers and an auxiliary side-mount heat exchanger keep the engine cool.

The 2013 FX Nytro XTX 1.75 will be available in blue, or black and charcoal with blacked out front suspension. Pricing is not yet available.
