MTA Distributing adds two sales reps
MTA Distributing has announced the hiring of a pair of new sales representatives: Jim Newell and Mitch Gerwin.
Newell was hired as a sales representative for the New York territory. He grew up working at his family’s multi-franchise motorcycle dealership. Over the years he performed varied roles including parts counter, technician, warranty manager and even dealership accountant. Other industry experience includes many years working as a tire vendor and technician at the largest touring rally in the US (Americade), owner/operator of a small accessory and repair shop and as sales representative for a national motorcycle parts and accessories distributor. Newell and his family participated in local and regional flat track racing and he participated in the amteur national championships in both TT and ice racing.
“I am looking forward to bringing the varied product lines offered by MTA to the dealers of New York”, said Newell.
Gerwin is a new sales representative for Michigan and Northwest Ohio territory. Mitch is a Motorcycle Mechanics Institute graduate with focus on suspension and motor technologies. As an avid enthusiast, Mitch also races GLMX and D14 MX and Off-Road events. Mitch has over 10 years industry experience.
