Mahindra NA hosts largest national dealer meeting to date

Mahindra North America’s annual National Dealer Meeting (NDM) centered around fully refreshed and extended product lines including higher HP engines for both the tractor and utility vehicle portfolios. These products will launch in stages over the next eight months beginning with its re-styled utility vehicles, followed by its new sub-compact, compact and utility tractors. The NDM brought together Mahindra’s worldwide dealers, partners and employees for this four-day gathering in Indianapolis, IN. Attendees representing India, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Brazil, Taiwan, Mexico and Canada came together for the largest Mahindra NDM to date.

“Our seventh National Dealer Meeting was our biggest yet. With the introduction of more than 40 refreshed and new tractors as well as re-designed and higher horsepower utility vehicles, Mahindra is ready to run,” said Mani Iyer, president and CEO, Mahindra NA. “We have a strategy to maintain our aggressive growth in the North American market and this new product portfolio is one of the drivers that will fuel our forward momentum.”

Mahindra’s new product launch began with an unveiling of more than 25 models during the general session followed by detailed classroom training and a dynamic, interactive ride and drive experience with the new tractors and utility vehicles. In addition, the NDM provided an opportunity for dealers to share best practices, talk to Mahindra’s senior leadership and attend business development sessions. Dealers were recognized for their achievements over the past year during an awards dinner. It was not all work; dealers and partners were treated to an exciting evening at the Indy Motor Speedway and to a special reception at the beautiful and historic Grand Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.

“We were pleased to have 100 percent of our dealers attend the 2017 NDM to learn about Mahindra’s new products, network with their peers and attend sessions offering tools and tips to develop and grow their independent businesses. This is a testament to the Mahindra-way of doing business and our commitment to a loyal and dedicated dealer network which is rooted in shared partnership,” said Cleo Franklin, CMO/VP — Strategic Planning, Mahindra NA. “It was truly special to have record attendance to witness this unprecedented new product unveiling.”

In keeping with the NDM tradition and Mahindra’s RISE philosophy, Mahindra presented a tractor to the City of Indianapolis. The donation was accepted by the director of Public Works, Dan Parker.
