Harley-Davidson dealership begins $2 million expansion

Harley-Davidson of Appleton, recently broke ground on a new $2 million expansion, according to an article from Post Crescent, a division of the USA Today Network.

The expansion involves building a 20,000-square-foot multipurpose building across the street from the dealership’s main 72,000-square-foot facility at 5322 W. Clairemont Drive in Grand Chute, Wis. The new facility will be used to issue motorcycle licenses and will also host a Harley-Davidson Riding Academy.

Harley-Davidson of Appleton’s co-owner Joshua Doughty commented in an interview: “We hope to have the building completed in December and we’re hoping to use it for storage right away, depending on how construction goes. The range will be completed this fall, before the snow hits, and that way we’re ready to go by spring.”
