LA Times turns to industry sources for UTV story

The Los Angeles Times recently published a piece on the growth that side-by-sides have experienced in the past year. "Four-wheeled off-road vehicles known as 'side-by-sides' represent the fastest-growing segment of the powersports industry," said LA Times writer Charles Fleming.

Fleming interviewed multiple industry leaders, including Yamaha Scott Newby, Honda's Sean McFillin, Polaris' Craig Scanlon and PSB's own managing editor Liz Keener. The article itself references our annual Powersports Business Market Data Book, where the single-vehicle sales of side-by-sides are estimated to exceed 500,000 globally this year, with about 400,000 sold in the U.S.
