Dealership launches 50,000 square foot expansion, connecting restaurant

Dothan Powersports’ Ross Clark Circle location is growing to 50,000 square feet by expanding into a building that formerly housed Sportsman’s Outfitters, according to an article in the Dothan Eagle.

Don Owens, owner and general manager of Dothan, pointed out at the expansion will include much more showroom space and also connect to a neighboring restaurant, the Blue Plate Restaurant.

Owens commented on the restaurant’s proximity to the dealership: “It puts us in a rather unique position as a powersports dealer in that not a whole lot of restaurants are inside a powersports store. It adds to that customer experience to be able to allow the flow back and forth…”

  1. In the future, it would be helpful if the article lets the readers know where the expanding dealership is located. I had to Google the name to discover they are located in Alabama.
    Other than that, it was a good article. Congratulations to Dothan’s on the upgrade.
