Harley-Davidson dealership builds veterans memorial

Timothy Crabb, owner of Woodstock Harley-Davidson, began construction on a permanent military and veteran memorial Tuesday September 15, according to an article in the Northwest Herald.

Crabb opened the Woodstock dealership in May and thought the extra space in the new location could be used for a meaningful purpose. Crabb said in an interview, “We do not do enough in this counry to honor those who put their lives on the line to protect this country. This is just one of my ways to help people understand the necessity of things like this.”

The memorial already has an 80-foot flagpole with American flag, but will gain personalized donated bricks around its base and eventually, a black granite engraved monument.
