Pair of Indian dealerships team up for dual grand opening

Two new Atlanta-area Indian Motorcycle dealerships will host a dual Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, July 18. Atlanta Highway Indian Motorcycle, located in Alpharetta, and Indian Motorcycle of Marietta are teaming up for a Poker Chip Challenge event. The winner of the challenge will receive an Indian Motorcycle leather jacket valued at $500. They are the Atlanta area’s first dealers for legendary and iconic Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company.

Details of the dual Grand Opening for Indian Motorcycle Atlanta Highway and Indian Motorcycle of Marietta are as follows:

Date: Saturday, July 18.

Where: Atlanta Highway Indian Motorcycle, 5960 Atlanta Highway, Alpharetta; Indian Motorcycle of Marietta, 1750 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta.

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Poker Chip Challenge: Participants are challenged to visit both locations to receive a poker chip and enter for a chance to win prizes.

Raffle: Prizes include an autographed jersey and baseball from Atlanta Braves legend Tom Glavine. Tickets are $20, with proceeds benefitting CURE Childhood Cancer.

Also: Demo rides, music from KICKS 101.5 and ROCK 100.5, food.

“Atlanta Highway Indian Motorcycle and Indian Motorcycle of Marietta are thrilled to bring Indian bikes to the greater Atlanta motorcycling community,” said Kevin Lackey, owner of Atlanta Highway Indian Motorcycle. “We thought there was no better way to celebrate than to join forces and host a fun event for area riders.”

In addition to bringing the motorcycling community together, the two dealerships are partnering to support a great cause. According to Lackey, 25 percent of T-shirt sales will also be donated to the CURE Childhood Cancer charity.
