Panattoni Europe has completed construction on Polaris’ first European factory in Opole, Poland.
The 33,000-square-meter (about 355,000 square feet) factory is located in the Wałbrzych Economic Zone Invest-Park of Opole, reported Property Magazine International. The factory will produce ATVs and side-by-sides for the European market beginning as early as late August/early September.
“Our Opole, Poland, plant is right on schedule for start up later this year,” Polaris president and COO Bennett Morgan said during Polaris’ first-quarter conference call Wednesday.
The new facility includes 25,600 square meters (more than 275,000 square feet) of production space, 3,400 square meters (about 36,000 square feet) of warehouse space and 3,981 square meters (nearly 43,000 square feet) for offices and staff facilities.
