New facility planned for Indiana dealership

After acquiring two Indiana dealerships and combining them into one store, owners Mark and Mike Forszt plan on building a new 36,000-square-foot facility for their new Boiler Harley-Davidson.

The brothers, who own four other Harley-Davidson dealerships in Indiana, purchased Eagle Harley-Davidson in Lafayette, Ind., and Spyke’s Harley-Davidson in Frankfort, Ind., before combining them into the newly-named Boiler Harley-Davidson in the Frankfort location. Now the longtime Harley-Davidson franchise owners are looking to build a new facility for Boiler H-D, reported The Journal & Courier of Lafayette, Ind.

The Forzst brothers hope to break ground on their new building in late March or early April with completion expected in late September or early October. The new dealership will feature three “pods,” each at 12,000 square feet placed in a U-shape surrounding a courtyard. One “pod” will house the showroom, while another will include parts and accessories, and the third will have a 4,000-square-foot pavilion and 8,000 square feet in storage for customers’ bikes and used units. The facility is being built on five acres of land in Lafayette.
