BRP inaugurates Mexican facility
BRP inaugurated its new facility in Querétaro, Mexico, last week.
In Querétaro, BRP assembles Rotax engines for Can-Am off-road vehicles, assembles the Sea-Doo Spark and manufactures composite hulls and decks for Sea-Doo watercraft, with plans to produce all Sea-Doo watercraft there by 2015. When the Querétaro project is complete, BRP will have invested about $100 million Canadian (MXN1.260MM) into the LEED-certified facility. By 2015, about 1,100 people will be employed there.

The Querétaro facility is BRP’s second in Mexico. The company also has a factory in Juárez that employs more than 1,250 people to assemble all Can-Am ATVs and side-by-sides.
