Skip Fordyce Harley-Davidson sold to Veracka family

The Veracka family announced their purchase of Skip Fordyce Harley-Davidson located at 7688 Indiana Ave in Riverside, CA.  Dealer Principal Jay Dabney and family sold the iconic dealership after 39 successful years of serving Southern California.

With over 45 years of combined experience in the motorcycle business, Michael, along with his brother Paul and father Dave, already own and operate three of the most successful Harley-Davidson dealerships in the nation and are excited to add another flagship store to the group.  The dealership will now be known as Riverside Harley-Davidson (www.riversideharley.com) adding to Rawhide Harley-Davidson in Olathe, KS, High Octane Harley-Davidson in Billerica, MA and Avalanche Harley-Davidson in Denver, CO.

Skip Fordyce Harley-Davidson has been the recipient of many prestigious awards, most notably being a 10-time winner of the Bar & Shield Circle of Achievement Award, 11-time Winners Circle Award, 2006 Parts & Accessories Retailer of the Year-Western Region, and 2004 Vehicle Sales of the Year-Western Region, to name a few.  Skip Fordyce Harley-Davidson with Jay Dabney in the saddle built a foundation on a passion for the Harley-Davidson brand and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to every customer, every day.

“I’m excited to be serving the Harley-Davidson community in Southern California. Our goal is to be famous for delivering a premium customer experience and I think we’ll prove that over the next year with our events, rides, bike nights, and more. Jay Dabney has done a great job and we look forward to building on the legacy he created. The team Jay built while he operated the dealership is exceptional and we look forward to building on the expertise already in place,” said Michael Veracka.

The Veracka family will now take that legacy and continue to build on it, fueling the passion and enthusiasm for the Harley-Davidson brand for years to come. The Veracka’s have big plans for Riverside Harley-Davidson. First is to tie the dealership to its strong roots and rich history with the community.  The Veracka family understands and appreciate how loyal and proud the dealership’s staff and customers are of their city and of their dealership.

The Veracka’s big plans for Riverside Harley-Davidson do not stop with the name. Building on the dealership’s long respected reputation in Southern California, the Veracka’s will bring new life and reinvigorate the dealership. Changes will include significant inventory investments in motorcycles, riding gear, parts, and accessories along with increased dealership events and bike nights.

Glen Espinoza will continue steering the ship as general manager, working with the already established Riverside Harley-Davidson team members, with plans to add up to 20 additional employees to grow Riverside Harley-Davidson into the #1 dealership in California.

Riverside Harley-Davidson will now begin their own journey by fulfilling dreams while delivering a premium customer experience and creating customers for life.
