Enterprise Rent-A-Car enters motorcycle rental business

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has opened Motorcycle Rental by Enterprise, a new motorcycle rental location in Las Vegas. The new branch is the first of its kind stemming from a rental car company.

Enterprise said it launched the motorcycle rental business in response to customer demand.

“Motorcycle enthusiasts are passionate about riding, and we heard from many customers who wanted to enjoy high-quality bikes, even when they’re away from home,” said Steve Short, vice president, Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “Motorcycle Rental by Enterprise renters will be able to choose from a wide selection of popular bikes and can expect the same, first-rate customer service they experience at our other Enterprise branches around the country.

”The Las Vegas branch, located at 4517 W Flamingo Road, will offer rentals of Harley-Davidson models, including the Street Glide, Road Glide Custom, Electra Glide Custom, Electra Glide Ultra Limited and Road Glide Ultra, with Heritage Softail Classic and Fat Boy Lo models being added by the end of November.

Anyone who rents a motorcycle from Enterprise must have a valid motorcycle license. Enterprise will provide helmets free of charge, as Nevada law requires all motorcyclists to wear helmets.

Enterprise says the Las Vegas motorcycle rental business is its first, but others could be on the way.

“We chose to pilot motorcycle rental in Las Vegas because we saw an opportunity to serve a large segment of travelers who are interested in renting motorcycles to visit nearby attractions like the Strip, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead,” Short said. “We will continue to listen to our customers and announce plans for future growth based on that feedback.”
