S&S Cycle is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year with a special event in June in Wisconsin.
The party will take place June 21-22 at the Oktoberfest grounds in La Crosse, Wis., with a side trip offered to the S&S factory in Viola, Wis. At the factory, which is about an hour’s drive from La Crosse, visitors can enjoy breakfast, plant and museum tours and rides through the hills of the “driftless area” of southeast Wisconsin.
At the Oktoberfest grounds, S&S will offer vendor displays, traditional Wisconsin brats and beer and a bike show featuring five student-built bikes. Regional bands, including the Eric Tessmer Band from Austin, Texas, will entertain, with Foghat and The Outlaws headlining the event.
Discounted $15 two-day wristbands are available online through June 12. $18 two-day wristbands and $10 one-day wristbands will be available at the gate. There’s no age restriction to enter the Oktoberfest grounds, however, to be in the beer garden stage area, attendees must be 21 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
