Galfer offers oversize wave rotor kit for Kawasaki KLR 650
Galfer USA is now offering a complete Oversize Wave Rotor Kit for the Kawasaki KLR 650, with configurations to match the ’88-12 model years. Galfer’s brake kits provide more stopping power and increased control in even the most aggressive conditions.
The KLR Oversize Kit was designed and developed through rigorous use, both on an in-house project bike and on Galfer employees’ personal KLRs. The kit, which retails for $289, represents the best replacement brakes available for the KLR without replacing the forks.
Each kit includes a Galfer 320mm Wave rotor, a relocation bracket, the famous Galfer green pads, a steel-braided brake line, and all necessary mounting hardware.
The two configurations of the KLR Oversize Kit include the following part numbers and applications: KITOS50 (1988-2007) and KITOS51 (2008-12).
The KLR Oversize Kit greatly increases braking power on the KLR. Like all Galfer wave rotors, this 320mm Oversize rotor is laser cut from Galfer’s unique high carbon 420 SS/8 composite and is heat-treated to prevent warping. The patented Wave design minimizes heat transfer, equalizes dissipation and ensures even pad wear.
