Did you send your email subscribers a holiday “card”?

Marketlive.com reports that sending email subscribers a “Season’s Greetings” message on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day is an increasingly-popular tactic: nearly one in four major online retailers sent holiday wishes in 2010, up from 19 percent in 2009, according to email provider Responsys. That number is expected to rise again for the 2011 holiday season. Messages can serve to spur post-season buying.
